HoriPro’s Phil Barton is nominated alongside co-writer Johnny Bulford for Breakthrough Songwriter of the year at the 24th annual MusicRow Awards, earning recognition for their #1 song, “A Woman Like You.”

The MusicRow Awards will be hosted by BMI at the organization’s offices on Wednesday, June 20, 2012.

Lee Brice’s sophomore album, Hard 2 Love, debuts as the #1 Digital Country Album, as well as #2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, with the first week’s sales reaching over 46,000 units.

Last month, the record’s lead single, “A Woman Like You,” co-written by HoriPro’s Phil Barton, with Jon Stone and Johnny Bulford, topped the Country Aircheck/Mediabase and Billboard Country Songs charts at #1.
