REO Speedwagon
ABOUT
REO Speedwagon has been one of the most enduring, best-selling American rock bands for over three decades, accumulating many chart hits and platinum albums to their credit. Hailing from the Midwest, the group emerged in the late 1970s with such classic rock hits as “Ridin’ The Storm Out” and “Roll With The Changes.” They continued their hit success throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s, releasing multi-platinum albums Hi Infidelity, Nine Lives, Good Trouble and Wheels Are Turnin’. To this day, REO Speedwagon remains active, touring steadily worldwide, recording new material, and attracting new fans.
Kevin Cronin, REO’s lead vocalist/guitarist, joined the band in the ‘70s and has acted as the main songwriter since joining. Cronin wrote the majority of the group’s songs, and his distinctive, passionate lead vocals helped define the band’s trademark sound. Lead guitarist, Gary Richrath, was a key member of the group, writing hits like “Take It On The Run” and “Ridin’ The Storm Out.”
REO Speedwagon has provided their fans with a deep catalog of Rock & Pop standards which continue to be in great demand, including the #1 hit, “Keep On Loving You,” “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” “Take It On The Run,” and “Don’t Let Him Go.” REO’s other big hits are found in songs like “Keep The Fire Burnin’,” “In My Dreams,” “That Ain’t Love,” and “Here With Me.”
